Winter Workshops

Join me this winter for an exiting series of workshops. These will be contemporary based workshops. Each workshop will have a different focus that we will dive into. So, dancers can come to one workshop and dive into that idea, come to all of the workshops and discover how the ideas relate to and support each other, or anything in between. I am excited to move with you this summer!

$20 per workshop

Who it's For

Dancers 15+

These workshops are designed for dancers to expand their base knowledge, try new things, and dive deeper into familiar ideas. Dancers will be supported in making modifications as needed, and variations will be offered. I am happy to work with a variety of skill levels, but participants will want to have some sort of background in dance to give them a base.

*Registration must be complete and payment must be received before November 30 at 11:59 PM to be eligible for the Special Offer.

Workshop Focuses

Contemporary Floorwork - December 29

In this workshop we will be exploring transitions between the floor and standing, and ways to move while staying connected to the floor.

Contemporary Partnering - January 2

In this workshop we will be exploring how to navigate partial and full weight sharing while working with any partner.

Question - What should I bring?

Answer - A list of recommended items to bring will be emailed upon registration. However, you will definitely want water!

Question - Can I come to the workshop even if I don't attend the studio it is at?

Answer - 100%! These workshops are open to anyone that wants to come.

Question - I have never taken contemporary before, will I be overwhelmed?

Answer - These workshops may feel unfamiliar and challenging, but I have found that can be a great thing. These are not about being amazing at everything by the end of the workshop, but rather making new discoveries and building on what you already know!

Question - I haven't taken a class with these focuses before, can I still come?

Answer - Yes, these workshops are a place to learn and expand! There may be a variety of levels and experiences, but everyone will come in where they are at. If you are still uncertain, send me a message!
